1. Is this the game where J.J. finally puts up the gaudy numbers Wolverine fans desperately want against an underperforming, below-average IU pass defense? In his first 2 B1G games, McCarthy has missed on a number of deep shots but, Corum has already put some wear on his tires AND IU's rush play D grades out as their biggest D strength.
2. Michigan is one of the best team's in the country on 1st and 2nd down and conversely, has comparatively struggled to move the chains on obvious pass downs. The Key for the Indiana D will to create some early down havoc plays, drive killers, and stopping UM O momentum.
3. Does Indiana get their Top 2 WRs back? Camper and Matthews have been excellent for Bazelak and the most pass-happy team in the COUNTRY. IU struggled without them last week & will require their services against a talented, underrated UM Pass D.
4. IU has been inconsistent to start the year, especially in the 1st/2nd Quarters - often falling behind multiple scores, resulting in a more predictable offense. Can they reverse that trend?
5. Bedford's (Starting Tackle) injury for the IU OL has been a tough one - not only their best lineman but the replacement as been bad. Last week Michigan found the weak link on the Iowa OL and successfully targeted him. If IU's patient offense is going to have a chance on Saturday, they will need to be creative in giving help to their new OL against UM's improving pass rushers.
