Notable BIG10 Injuries - Week 12

Things to consider when you bring your fun coupons to the window this weekend. 3 more weeks of BIG10 Football and the stakes will only get higher from here on out. Who will emerge from the East? Will New Wisconsin prove to be a formidable foe in BIG10 Championship?

Jalen Nailor (MSU WR) - DOUBTFUL @ #4 OSU

The Spartans will need points to win/cover on Saturday and likely a lot. Michigan State's weakness, their Pass Defense, will likely be exploited and abused by OSU's pass game featuring a minimum of 3 elite WRs. Ohio's D has looked solid and improved against the BIG10's worst offenses but recently, PSU, Nebraska and Purdue have all had success moving the ball against the Buckeyes (who have been saved by BIG play turnovers). MSU would love to slow the game down and beat the Buckeyes down with a heavy dose of Walker but a healthy Nailor, paired with Jayden Reed, would go a long way in keeping OSU secondary honest.

Marcus Flemming (Maryland WR) - OUT vs #6 Michigan

Not so much about Flemming as a player, but more of a reminder of how thin the Maryland WR corps has become. Flemming, a young talented WR in his own right, was plugged into the starting line up after Maryland lost their #1 and #3 WRs, Dontay Demus and Jeshaun Jones. Maryland's offense was built around their pass game and with top WRs missing, Tua's brother will have an even tougher task ahead. Michigan features the best DE duo in the country in Hutchinson and Odjabo and Tua's brother struggles when pressured. It should be tough for Maryland to score points. I like the Under in this one.

Jojo Domann (Nebraska LB) - OUT @ #15 Wisconsin

One of the many Super Seniors around the country thanks to the COVID season, Domann was an undisputed leader on the Cornhusker D - one who is a lock to be on an All-BIG10 team. Losing Domann is a tough loss for Nebraska has the limp into the end of the season. However, there is reason for optimism in Lincoln. They are coming off a November Bye thanks to their Week 0 game @ Illinois - Scott Frost is signed onto a new contract and take a sigh of relief. Domann was partuclarily unquie due to his versatility and ability to defend the pass. Lucky for Nebraska, Wisconsin doesn't like to throw the ball and they also have a very deep and talented LB group. I like Nebraska in this matchup, take em to cover.
